Moving In and Out

During move-in days in August and move-out days in December and May, Parking Operations will make every attempt to accommodate students and their families.

During the move-in process in August, University Police Officers will be directing traffic in and around the residence hall area. Parking will be permitted on the grass and sidewalk, provided that one person stays with the vehicle until it is unloaded onto the sidewalk. The vehicle will then need to be moved to the Park Center Parking Lot. Campus shuttle buses will then be available to return you to the residence hall area.

For move-out days, the University Police Department will allow parking next to the residence halls and grass areas for loading purposes only. Once the vehicle has been loaded it must then be moved to a regular parking space. Please note that due to weather conditions parking in the grass may be prohibited.
