Academic Youth Programs

We regret to inform you that the Academic Youth Programs for Summer 2019 have been cancelled.

SUNY Cortland is excited to offer two academic youth programs — the Summer Art Workshop and Data Dragons — in Summer 2019. Both programs will be offered the week of July 8 through 12 at SUNY Cortland. The Summer Art Workshop is geared toward students currently in grades 8 through 12. Data Dragons is geared toward students currently in grades 6 through 8. See below for more information on each program. 

Early registration is $175 through May 31. Beginning June 1, the registration fee increases to $200. Register by June 21, 2019. Space is limited, so register early to secure your space.

Summer Art Workshop

Spend a week learning, creating and exploring Animation, Fiber/Mixed Media and Light-sensitive Processes. Led by SUNY Cortland's inspired Art and Art History faculty, this week-long session is ideal for high school students with a passion for art and creativity.

Data Dragons

A week-long, activity-based program that will help you tame your inner Data Dragon. Led by SUNY Cortland's faculty, this session is ideal for middle school students with a passion for data and analysis.
