SUNY Cortland Title IX Office to continue operations remotely

Dear Campus Community,

I am reaching out to let you know that SUNY Cortland’s concern for your safety and well-being is not limited to the threat of COVID-19. As we resume classes remotely, please know that the Title IX Office remains available to the SUNY Cortland community. We will work with individuals remotely should they wish to make a report, seek resources, or understand their rights and options related to sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, harassment or discrimination based on gender or sexual identity.

The Title IX Office can work with individuals when an incident occurs off campus or online. Unless otherwise requested, we will reach out by email to anyone who makes a report to the office.

Students, faculty, and staff wishing to make a report to the Title IX Office can email me, Maggie Wetter, Title IX Coordinator, at maggie.wetter@cortland.edu. Additional reporting options, including an anonymous reporting form, can be found on the Title IX website.

As a reminder to faculty and staff working with students remotely, all responsible employees who become aware of sexual violence, discrimination or harassment should report this information to the Title IX Coordinator immediately. This includes information learned via online platforms.
