The recognition committee is responsible for updating/maintaining our bulletin board in the basement of Van Hoesen. We also read all the OTMs that are due at the first of every month, decide on the winners for each category, and give all the campus winners certificates and a prize. This committee has sponsored an RHD appreciation day to recognize all the RHDs on campus that do a lot of behind the scenes work and have recognized each hall staff at their staff meetings throughout the year. The recognition committee also has two recognition nights per semester in which we do fun activities and recognize our members. Another thing our committee is in charge of is holding a dessert social for the hall with the highest GPA last semester.

The fundraising committee of the SUNY Cortland Delta Rho chapter of NRHH plans and implements all fundraising programs for NRHH. Generally, the fundraising programs benefit outside organizations big and small. Several organizations we have donated to in the past are; St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Make a Wish Foundation, Courtland County SPCA, and many more. These programs are implemented both in the residence halls and on campus. They range from a variety of games, competitions, and selling of candy or other items.

The selections/recruitment committee oversees the induction process each semester. Beginning as soon as possible in the semester, the committee begins advertising and promoting the organization. As part of this advertising campaign, nominations for the organization are collected. Since people must be nominated for NRHH, this part of the committee's agenda is very important. The more nominations are collected, the more applicants we will have, and the organization will be that much stronger in the coming semester. The committee is always trying to come up with fun and new ways to advertise and promote the organization.
After the deadline for nominations has passed, the committee then focuses on the application process. First, all nominees are informed of their nomination. In addition, they are given information on how to apply as well as detailed information on the organization. Once all nominees who choose to apply do so, the committee reviews these applications and decides who will be a part of NRHH in the coming semester!
After all applicant decisions have been made and finalized, the committee turns their full attention to the Graduation/Induction Ceremony. Typically held in the last week of the semester, it is the culmination of all of the committee's work throughout the semester. At this ceremony, new inductees are officially welcomed into the chapter. In addition, graduating members are recognized and honored, as well as the efforts of the entire organization throughout the semester.

The service committee's goal is to sponsor service events not only for the members of NRHH, but also the general campus population. We attempt to better or give back to the Cortland community by focusing our service projects to local organizations.
