National Student Clearinghouse Service

SUNY Cortland authorizes the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide degree and enrollment verification information for all students. Enrollment verifications for an upcoming semester through the NSC "student self-service access" is available during the second week of August (approx. 10th-12th) for the Fall semester; and during the second week of January (approx. 10th-12th) for the Spring semester.

Prospective Health Insurer / Financial Lender / Other Agency inquiry:

The National Student Clearinghouse is SUNY Cortland's authorized agent for providing degree and enrollment verifications. Please contact the National Student Clearinghouse at http://www.studentclearinghouse.org/ (or directly at http://www.degreeverify.com/) or at (703) 742-4200.

Student inquiry:

SUNY Cortland provides enrollment verifications through myRedDragon via the National Student Clearinghouse website. To access this information follow these steps:

• login to myRedDragon
• select: Student Online tab
• under the Registrar Student Channel select: Enrollment Verification
• select one of two options:
  • for a current enrollment term, or
  • for all enrollment terms
• select: Obtain an Enrollment Certificate
• you may print as many verifications as you wish and send them to the respective agency seeking proof of enrollment
• you may select the "view" option on the student self-service site to review other enrollment information with the National Student Clearinghouse

Parent inquiry:

SUNY Cortland provides enrollment verifications through myRedDragon using the National Student Clearinghouse. Your son/daughter may obtain the requested verification from myRedDragon. If they need assistance, please direct them to visit the Registrar's Office.
