Announcements:

  • In celebration of Body Appreciation Week, we will be having a FREE all-levels yoga class in the SLC Multi-Activity Court 6:45-7:45pm on Monday, February, 20 and a FREE Zumba class 7:45pm-8:45pm. Yoga mats will not be provided, but you bring a yoga mat or towel if you please.
  • In celebration of the Student Life Center's 2nd anniversary of opening AND National Recreational Sports and Fitness Day, we will be having a FREE indoor cycling class 5:00-5:45pm in the SLC Spin room, and a FREE Zumba class 6:00-7:00pm in the Multi-Activity Court on Wednesday, February 22.
  • There will be no group exercise classes on Friday, March 10- Sunday, March 19 due to spring break. All classes will resume Monday, March 20.

All class cancellations will be posted to twitter and you can sign-up for our class cancellation email chain on one of the bulletin boards outside of the group exercise room or in the spin room.

 Please make sure to bring your SUNY Cortland ID card with you to all classes that take place in the Group Exercise and Indoor Cycling Rooms, as our new check-in system requires you to swipe your ID card to prove membership. The Group Exercise Program is managed through the Fitness component of the Recreational Sports Department. If you have questions about this program, please contact Kelsey Leggett, the Graduate Assistant for Fitness/Group Exercise.

The schedule below will start on Monday, 1/30/17. Free week schedules are posted at the Student Life Center front desk, the group exercise room bulletin board and the spin class door. Cost to Join the Group Exercise Program (price includes unlimited classes):

Students- $30 per semester 

Faculty/Staff/Other- $50 per semester

Group Exercise Program One-Class Pass: 

Students: $5
Faculty/Staff and Others: $10

You Can Purchase any Membership online or at the Student Life Center:

Register at the front desk in the Student Life Center from 6-12 a.m. Monday through Friday or Saturday/Sunday from 7-12a.m. or purchase a Group Exercise or Group Exercise-Mind/Body Combo Membership online.

We also offer a Group Exercise - Mind Body Combo membership. If you're interested in attending both Group Exercise and Mind Body classes, take advantage of this opportunity! This membership allows you to participate in any of the 39 group exercise classes offered weekly as well as the 14 Yoga  classes per week throughout the semester.
