Group Exercise Instructor Bios

Boyan Cox
This is Boyan's second semester at SUNY Cortland. She is currently majoring in Elementary Education. She enjoys working out daily is always trying out new exercises that work the same muscle group. She is pationate about helping people who want to learn more about achieving their personal goals, expecially when it comes to their physical and nutritional health. Boyan was inspired to teach group exercise after taking the strength and conditioning class with Justin Kompf last semester, but was not certain what type of class she wanted to teach. Over the winter break, Boyan took a one-day Kettle Bell class at a gym back home and this struck her curiosity about kettle bell training and its true capability. After doing some research and using her creativity to come up with more exercises, she decided to teach a kettlebell class. Although this is her first time teaching a  class, she is prepared, excited and determined to motivate people.
