Graduate Studies

SUNY Cortland offers thirty-three master's programs and five certificates of advanced study. To accommodate commuting students, most courses are offered in the late afternoon and evening, Monday through Thursday. A selection of graduate courses is available during Summer Session, and at Cortland's Mohawk Valley Graduate Center, an off-campus center in Utica, NY.

Graduate students attending full time or part time are entitled to all campus privileges, including the use of library, all student services, as well as personal and career counseling. Additionally, students will receive the Graduate Studies Newsletter.

When Web registration closes, the Graduate Studies Office handles registration and change of schedule by mail, fax or in person only. Please send this paperwork to the fax number below, or call our office if you have questions about these procedures.
