Come for the ride and a memorable weekend in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York state. Cortland is easy to reach, located just off Interstate 81 between Syracuse and Binghamton.
The Cortland community and the State University of New York College at Cortland welcomes all cyclists to the Red Dragon Ride. On Saturday, Oct. 2, three rides of approximately 25, 55 and 80 miles will be held. Two rides of approximately 40 and 55 miles will take place on Sunday, Oct. 3
The ride costs $90 and includes a tee shirt, drinks and snacks at the beginning of the ride and along the ride routes, dinner and a social with entertainment. Proceeds from this event will support scholarships for Cortland county students who attend SUNY Cortland as well as youth programs at the Cortland County YMCA.
A small city of about 20,000, Cortland offers a quaint downtown business district with shops and restaurants, as well as easy access to biking trails and rivers and lakes. Ithaca and Syracuse are just a short drive away.
