Promoting Academic Student Success (PASS)

PASS is a quick and easy online referral system that allows faculty to report concerns about a student’s academic performance. It is designed as an additional way to help address classroom concerns such as:

  • Missed classes
  • Habitually late
  • Does not have class materials (e.g.: textbooks, notebooks, writing utensils, supplies, etc.)
  • Assignments not completed or of inconsistent quality, missing homework or failing to read required material
  • Written work
  • Failing quizzes/tests
  • Lack of study habits or basic academic skills
  • Behavior problem(s), (e.g. talking out of turn or off topic, sleeping or dozing off in class/day dreaming, refusing to participate in classroom activities, inappropriate use of cell phone or other technology)
  • Missed advising appointment
