Student Reporting Locations
Students should report to their corresponding location at 6:15 p.m. to ensure that the ceremony will begin promptly at 7 p.m. All guests should proceed directly to Alumni Arena.
* Please note: Honors Convocation is an official college ceremony. Students are asked to wear professional attire.
Students receiving a top five percent recognition only report Park Center, Room 2213 (formerly Room D-305, rock climbing gym). Students will receive their reader card and line-up by class to enter the arena during the processional for the Top 5% recognition. Further instructions will be provided prior to exiting Room 2213 for the ceremony.
Students receiving both the top five percent recognition and a department or All-College award report to Park Center, Room 2218 (formerly Room D-327, front dance studio). Students will recive their reader card, special award seating assignment, and will line-up by class to enter the arena during the processional for the Top 5% recognition. Further instructions will be provided prior to exiting Room 2218 for the ceremony.
Students receiving a department or All-College award only report to the Park Center Skate Change Area (located near the ground floor entrance of Alumni Arena). Students will check-in and proceed to the Arena with their seating assignment for the ceremony. Student reader cards will be placed on the assigned seat.
Faculty and Staff Reporting Locations
Faculty and Staff should report to their corresponding location at 6 p.m. to ensure that the ceremony will begin promptly at 7 p.m.
Faculty members presenting awards on behalf of their department report to Park Center, Room 2310.
Faculty members participating in the processional report to Park Center, Room 2216 (formerly Room D-321, back dance studio).
Members of the platform party report to Park Center, Room 2303 (formerly Room A-317).
** Faculty or staff members may purchase or rent regalia through the College Store for the 2013 Honors Convocation and Commencement ceremonies. Further information is available on the Commencement website under Faculty/Staff Information or by clicking here.
