Caps and Gowns

To obtain a cap, gown, hood and tassel, students should first apply to graduate using myRedDragon by March 1 to have their name appear in the Commencement program.

Once a student has applied for a degree, students can purchase caps and gowns, hoods, tassels, flowers, Commencement announcements, class rings, diploma frames and other gift items relating to Commencement.

Please note students who do not apply by the March 1 deadline are not guaranteed to appear in the program.

You can order your cap, gown and tassel at any time via The College Store, please visit:

Gown:  $34.00, Cap:  $9.50, Hood:  $38.95 and Tassel:  $4.50

Please Note: Cap, gown, hood, tassel, and diploma cover are required for participation. Students who plan to borrow a cap and gown, must purchase a diploma cover to participate in the ceremony.

In order to participate in Commencement you must purchase a diploma cover through our online ticketing process.  The diploma cover is linked to your Student Line-Up Ticket (which you must bring with you the day of Commencement).  The diploma cover will be handed to you as you walk across the stage.  Please have a credit card ready.  On March 24 the link will go live and you will be able to do so.  You will only have access to this site if you have applied for graduation. As March 24 gets closer, you will receive a detailed check list outlining the steps to purchase your diploma cover and all items you must purchase in order to participate in Commencement.

Please note guest tickets are not required for admission into the Graduate Commencement ceremony.  You will only need to bring your Student Line-Up Ticket with you.
