Faculty and staff are invited and strongly encouraged to participate in all of the ceremonies and activities that take place during Commencement weekend. Faculty and staff presence at the ceremony will not only provide support for all graduates, but also recognize those students in the Class of 2014 with whom you have had a special association.
All faculty and staff are invited to sit in front of the stage for Commencement. Regalia is preferred and will be required for those wishing to march during the ceremony processional and recessional. For those members of the faculty and staff who would like to attend, but do not have regalia, a special pass will be provided for access into the arena and to this seating area. These passes with entrance and seating instructions will be mailed approximately two weeks prior to the ceremonies.
Faculty who will not be wearing regalia or marching during the ceremonies should arrive at the Park Center one hour before either ceremony. If you have a question that has not been addressed on this site, please contact the Special Events Coordinator for the President's Office at 607-753-5453 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
