Study of participatory sport tourism and mega-event-based tourism from local to international levels. Examines relationship between the industries of sports and tourism, including economic impact, marketing, financial aspects of mega-events, motives for people to travel and host large sporting events that lead to an industry focused on sports attractions, events and experiences for tourists.
