ANT 314 - Peoples of Latin America

Historical and contemporary review of Latin American societies with emphasis on the ethnology of indigenous people. Particular attention paid to the role Western colonial policies have played in shaping contemporary conflicts.

Prerequisite: ANT 102 or 300.
