PHI 240 - Social and Political Philosophy
With an emphasis on the relationship between the individual and the state as well as on opposing conceptions of democracy, freedom, and a just society, the course relates themes of social and political philosophy with historical, economic, and political events and movements from the seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries.
