THT 260 - Influences on the American Musical Theatre

The study of important playwrights and composers in American theatre and how they influenced musical theatre from the late 19th century to the present day. Theatrical and musical styles, forms, artists, representative works and social influences. Not open to students with credit for THT 161 or THT 162.
