ICC 625 - The Teaching of Foreign Languages in the Elementary School
Appropriate psychology, rationale, current research and statistics as well as methodologies in order to create successful foreign language teaching/learning experiences in the elementary school. Course is approved by the New York State Education Department for extension of foreign language 7-12 certification to foreign language K-12.
Prerequisites: One year of full-time teaching of foreign languages, provisional certification.(3 cr. hr.)
