ICC 622 - Theory and Practice of Bilingual/Multicultural Education
Provides a foundation in the historical, sociopolitical, linguistic and educational issues related to bilingual and multicultural education. Students develop a basic understanding of language and cultural diversity including aspects of sociolinguistics and multicultural education and learn specifically about social and pedagogical issues regarding bilingual and total immersion curricula in the United States.(3 cr. hr.)
