ESL 300 - Theoretical Foundations of Teaching English as a Second Language

A survey of the theoretical foundations of current trends in the teaching of English as a Second Language (ESL). While the practical concerns of the ESL professional are addressed, emphasis is on the role of theories of English language learning and teaching in informing practice. (3 cr. hr.)
