LIT 560 - Children's Literature in the Curriculum

The use of children's literature for helping children demonstrate an understanding and respect for cultural, linguistic and ethnic diversity: stimulating interest, promoting reading growth and increasing the motivation of learners to read widely and independently for knowledge, pleasure, personal growth and social understandings.
