How to Achieve CSHP

Developing a Coordinated School Health Program is a critical part of a school district's goal which includes creating the most successful academic environment for all students. Through a wide range of school health initiatives, a CSHP team develops and implements policies; supports standards-based curricula, instruction and assessment; provides professional development and resources; gathers, evaluates and disseminates data and provides technical assistance. By working with other agencies and organizations, these initiatives address numerous health and safety-related issues.
