Key controversies surrounding modern globalization debates: History of global capitalism; theories of modern imperialism; transnational corporations and the struggle for labor and human rights; the World Trade Organization; the International Monetary Fund and the nation state; U.S. foreign policy; and global conflict over strategic resources.
