SHH 300 - Normal Language Development
Course of language development in typical children explored from infancy to late adolescence with cultural and socioeconomic issues addressed. Includes semantic, syntactic, morphological, phonological and pragmatic aspects. Emphasis placed on language and pre-literacy in toddler and preschool years, and school-age language and literacy. Neurological, theoretical and applied issues addressed. Not open to those having credit for PSY 350.(3 cr. hr.)
