An outstanding scholarship opportunity for science, technology, engineering, math and economics undergraduates and professionals interested in pursuing a teaching career.
The State University of New York College at Cortland Robert Noyce Scholarship Program will create 50 new scholarships for undergraduate, graduate and career changers who are either
The undergraduate scholarship is $12,500 and the graduate scholarship is $15,000 for one year. The scholarship can be used for any costs associated with attending SUNY Cortland. The scholarships can be used for expenses associated with junior and senior year as well as graduate studies. Applicants are expected to be full-time students and U.S. citizens, nationals or permanent resident aliens.
The scholarship recipients will be expected to teach for two years at an approved K-12 school for every year of support they receive and must maintain contact with the SUNY Cortland Noyce project to ensure this obligation is met.
With a goal to produce 7,700 teachers nationwide, The Robert Noyce Scholarship has already produced 1,400 math and science teachers since 2002. Learn more: www.nsfnoyce.org
