Freshman and Transfer Student Scholarships
Accepted freshmen and transfer students interested in scholarships at SUNY Cortland are not required to fill out a separate scholarship application (with the exception of the freshman-based John Fantauzzi ’58 Scholarship). The SUNY Cortland Admissions Office determines recipients based on a student's application for admission.
Incoming students are welcome to view our available scholarship opportunities by browsing through all of the scholarships or by using the Search tab and entering the word "freshman" or "transfer."
SUNY Cortland Scholarship Opportunities
John Fantauzzi '58 Scholarship
Awarded to an entering freshman who is a child of immigrants to the United States (first- and second-generation American students). High academic achievement and leadership skills with the potential to contribute to SUNY Cortland's student life are taken into consideration.
A separate application will be made available to qualified students. Currently, applications are not taken through the link on our website. Deadline February 22, 2013.
