“. . . act justly, love kindness, & walk humbly with God.” Micah v.6:8
M.I.C.A.H. is a faith-based community organization working to improve lives of people in Cortland County. O'Heron Newman Catholic Chapel is one of the founding members. M.I.C.A.H leaders listen to the concerns of their neighbors and work together to address these concerns.
The congregations that comprise M.I.C.A.H. (Moving In Congregations, Acting in Hope) will bring people together to call into account those who keep others powerless, and to offer a unified, faith-based perspective on issues affecting our community.
This Cortland-area organization seeks to ensure that the dignity of all God's children will always remain intact.
At their core, the congregations will grow increasingly vital, visibly dedicated to the scriptural values of social justice, and in support of one another.
