Campus Champion

Claire Hartl has done well by doing good in the community, and she’ll be honored Thursday, April 18, at the College’s Leadership in Civic Engagement Awards Ceremony along with several other students, employees and local residents. Claire, a conservation biology major and Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society member, counts a project she led to remove invasive honeysuckle from Lime Hollow Center for Environment and Culture among her off-campus environmental commitments. Her work in the community has earned two competitive scholarships, which she’ll receive at Thursday’s 4:30 p.m. ceremony in Brockway Hall Jacobus Lounge.
