The 53rd Cortaca Jug football game took place at noon on Nov. 12, 2011 at Ithaca College's Butterfield Stadium. The Red Dragons defeated the Bombers 27-3 to keep the Jug home. The SUNY Cortland Alumni Association was pleased to offer our alumni several opportunities to gather to cheer on the Red Dragons.

The 54th Cortaca Jug football game will take place on Nov. 10, 2012 at the SUNY Cortland Stadium Complex. The Alumni Association plans to host several events and the annual alumni ticket lottery and looks forward to seeing you next November.
What is Cortaca Jug?
Billed as "the biggest little game in the nation" by Sports Illustrated, the annual Cortland-Ithaca football contest has been of one of the top draws in NCAA Division III football for the past two decades. While the rivalry dates back to 1930, the Cortaca Jug has been awarded to the winner annually since 1959.
