Guy B. Webb, former director of the College Singers, will bring his Missouri State University Concert Chorale to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 46 N. Main St., Cortland. This event is free and open to the public.

Parks Alumni House Garden Clean-up:

Alumni are asked to help prepare the historic grounds for the upcoming summer season. Please email the Parks Alumni House if you are available for a shift between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Tom Winiecki ’81, M.S.Ed. ’86, a physical education teacher of more than 30 years, recently was named the 2013 NFL Network Physical Education Teacher of the Year. Thousands of teachers from across the country were nominated for the award.

Chad DeVoe M.A.T. '04 and his wife, Courtney Coffey DeVoe M.S.Ed. '08, work for several hours each day on their earthship in Freeville, N.Y. — a sustainable housing structure made entirely of recycled materials that gets all of its water and heat by natural means.

Tony Gentilcore ’02, a respected Boston-based fitness trainer for nearly 100 professional baseball players, returned to campus in early April to inspire students, even finding time to lift weights with them in Tomik Fitness Facility.
