A professor of kinesiology at Bowling Green University, Stephen Langendorfer ’72 has earned numerous awards for his research in aquatics, motor development and measurement from a number of distinguished organizations, including the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
The former chair of the university’s Motor Development Research Consortium, Langendorfer has authored and co-authored more than 50 published articles in his field and has presented hundreds of scholarly papers at national and international conferences.
He graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Cortland with a bachelor’s degree in education. He earned a master’s degree from Purdue University and a doctorate in motor development from the University of Wisconsin.
