Successful Wall Street consultant Michael Morandi ’76 has owned and operated his own firm, a, the Medalist Group, LLC, since 1996.
After graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science, Morandi earned master’s degrees from SUNY Albany and from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
He was policy coordinator for Pacific Gas & Electric Company. In 1983, he joined Manufacturer’s Hanover Trust. From 1984-89, he headed sales and marketing for Drexel Burnham Lambert before heading international operations for a new interest rate products group.
A senior vice president at Lehman Brothers, he directed Citicorp’s New York-based financial institutions group in the early 1990s.
