Judith Treadway ‘81 has made enormous contribution to diabetes research including 16 patent applications and the advancement of several new drug candidates in the treatment of diabetes.
As a fellow in pharmaceutical research and development at Pfizer, Inc., she made significant strides as a member of the company’s Diabetes Drug Discovery Group, as well as in her work with the National Institutes of Health and the University of Iowa’s Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
Treadway earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from SUNY Cortland and master’s degrees from Ball State University and Columbia University. She received a doctorate in applied anatomy and physiology from Boston University.
