Minutes from Oct 8 approved.

HLH 525

1. New detailed outline was presented, reviewed and accepted.

2. Requested revisions from Oct 8 session were updated

a. Course is open to all education majors

b. Updated syllabus w/ schedule

3. Motion to accepted course was seconded

4. Course was approved by committee unanimously

HLH 330

1. Course was approved by committee conditionally on Oct 8.

2. Requested revisions were submitted and approved

SPM 285

1. Course description needs to add (B) on syllabus and include (3 cr. hr.)

2. New, shorter, course description is recommended. For example, �Introduction to the discipline of ticketing and the ticket sales process.�

3. Class schedule shows 10 weeks. Although the class is being presented for winter session/ asynch, committee recommends some language discussing a 15 week course.

4. Joy is checking to see if grade book is needed and not just % of grade.

5. Course is conditionally approved based on revisions to be presented next meeting

SPM 247

1. Need to change title on syllabus and course outline

2. Need to add �(B)� to course description

3. Thomas recommended cutting �and� and replacing with �&� to save 2 more characters

4. Need to match up course descriptions on syllabus and proposal

5. Recommended to remove �from course catalog� from syllabus

6. �Guest� misspelled as �Gust�

7. Grade book mistake (c � 76 not �86�)

8. Joy to check from all college to see if academic integrity statement needs to be posted on syllabus or just refer back to undergraduate catalog.

9. Missing page � November course syllabus

10. Need program alteration form + update elective list

11. Course is conditionally approved based on revisions to be presented next meeting

SPM 452

1. Syllabus is missing page including Week 1-6 topics

2. Abbreviated course title is not less than 30 characters

3. Course description needs �(A)� and committee recommends only using the first and last sentence and remove the other sentences, and add �(3 cr. hr.)�

4. Course description needs to list the prerequisites of the course

5. Justification of course level- need other language for �restriction� to junior status. Committee suggests to remove this clause entirely.

6. Conflicting information on #4 and #7 as a shared resource. If shared then need 566 description, if not then new description

7. Committee asks if 566 a required course at the grad level- if it is then cannot be used for credit when taken as undergraduate course

8. Missing page- academic integrity, weeks 1-6, grading scale

9. Course objectives- committee recommends stronger language than �be exposed�, �be familiar�, and �have a feel�.

10. Committee recommends listing the actual NASSM objectives for justification and connect to course objectives.

11. Need program alternation form

12. The committee has decided to table the decision on SPM 452 until the entire updated revisions are received
