The curriculum action chart was reviewed.� SPM 452 proposal will be at the next meeting, April 8^th. Department representatives were asked about pending curricular proposals.

There are five items to be checked or changed: 1) Check grade mode on Form 1; 2) Abbreviated Course title is more than 30 characters (Form 1); 3) add additional phrasing to justification �that integrates theory, practical experience and student interests in consultation with advisor (Form 1); 4) add information to timely proposal completion (Course Outline); and 5) include a calendar or outline by week (Course Outline).

Proposed Human Services Studies Major Revisions

This is a �capping� major for students with associate degrees in human services or chemical dependency counseling.� The Provost felt the need for a core group of courses for the major. Bonnie Hodges (Chair of the Health Department) and Jenna Curtis (Program Coordinator) have been working on this.

There are five items to be checked or modified: 1) Format - Section C � Categories 2 and 4 � fix typos and Section E add (3 credit hours) after course name; 2) Section C � Category 1 add EXS 201 and ECO 211 (These are statistics courses also); 3) Section C � Category 5 add REC 393 (Course is in the Prejudice and Discrimination category.); 4) Check if foreign language needs to be listed also in the new program; and 5) Add statement concerning SUNY GEs if needed to be finished, possibly next to Free Electives hours.
