The General Education (G.E.) Committee reviews and recommends established departmental courses for inclusion in the SUNY Cortland General Education Program. Proposals are submitted directly to the G.E. Committee and, if recommended, are then forwarded to the Provost for campus approval. In the case of the SUNY G.E. categories 1-10, final approval is granted by SUNY System.
